Peace Soccer Tournament: Offering Service Through Exercise

On the field, the players played vigorously; on the sidelines, the cheerleaders supported passionately! In this way, the players offered up service [to God] through soccer. In this CGM global soccer tournament, the Lord was together with the players through the sunny, clear and comfortable weather. Due to the rainy season, it had been raining continuously for the last couple of days, so everyone was thankful to God for sending down such good weather on the day of the competition. They glorified God even more through a special praise song in the opening ceremony.

CGM Soccer Tournament is different from regular soccer tournaments. Regular soccer tournaments are centered on people and the star athletes. The soccer tournament of CGM is centered only on God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son. In this global soccer tournament that occurs once a year, the overall goal is not about winning first place, but about giving all the glory to God. The soccer tournament brought together more than two hundred fifty players; at the end of the event, they implemented the central ideology of love and peace as they embraced one another with love. During that day, they lived out the Word together with the Lord.
